The annual gathering of Catholics, Jews and Protestants marks Kristallnacht, the Nazi-led mob violence in 1938 when about 1,000 Jewish synagogues were burned and thousands of Jews were forced into concentration camps, launching the genocide that killed 6 million Jews. Before he assumed the papacy, Buenos Aires Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio and his good friend Rabbi Abraham Skorka led the ceremony every year.A small group disrupted Tuesday night's ceremony by shouting the rosary and the "Our Father" prayer, and spreading pamphlets saying that "followers of false gods must be kept out of the sacred temple."
Imagine shouting the rosary. How is that devout recitation?
really foolish, only self serving... the sspxers on fisheaters didnt even agree with this, they wished they would have stayed outside the cathedral in a silent but reverent recitation. They too often are their own worst enemies
ReplyDeleteThose people are behaving totally in contradiction to the prayerful example and messages the Blessed Virgin Mary always shows to us. It's almost as if they are being more disrespectful to her and to Our Lord JesusChrist to pray the Rosary in that manner, than the ones they are protesting against. I doubt VERY much they are meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, as well!!..
