"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

The Charlie Rose Interview with Fr. Malone, S.J. and Fr. McShane, S.J., September 20, 2013

If you can watch the entire interview it is well worth your time - it is great.

  1. Wonderful! I wish I could watch the whole thing! Will try to look for it online. One thing I do watch daily are the Youtube videos from the Vatican, Rome Reports, EWTN. Those three are my favorites on all things Papa Francis. I highly recommend them.
Thank you Terry for sharing this wonderful excerpt from what looks like an excellent piece by Charlie Rose. ^^

  2. Yaya - you are welcome, and thanks for sharing your good insights on the blog - God bless you.

    1. Thank you for the atta boy. Your blog has become a favorite as it is colorful, informative, and solidly Catholic. I like it because you have travelled the road of having left, like many of us have, coming home a born again Catholic and now, loving Jesus, wanting to be ever more close to him, loving the faith, the Church, and our precious Holy Fathers.

Your blog is positive and faith affirming. It makes me smile and happy and never do I leave with a negative feeling...it is good to be in the company of fellow believers who lift us up when we are feeling weary.
      Thank you, Terry!

  3. What about that Charlie Rose interview with Elliot and Gretchen Schwartz? [pace, Breaking Bad!]

  4. T - I have no idea who they are.

  5. Sorry, Terry! You would have had to watch Sunday night's episode of Breaking Bad to get the reference.
