FYI
.
I would encourage you to subscribe to the RSS feed on my blog - that way you will get ALL of the posts I write - sometimes even before I edit them! I also frequently remove posts if I decide they are... 'just too, too'. Yet subscribers get everything as soon as I post.
.
You may have noticed my Followers widget is down. Strangely enough some Oriental pornographers and perhaps a few domestic homosexual terrorists registered and catapulted my count up to nearly 150 followers. Imagine how surprised I was to see all the porno links. I hope no one was deliberately sending these perverts over 'to boost my stats' - if you know what I mean.
.
So be sure and use the RSS feed and don't forget to link.
.
That's all.
BTW - I don't know how you subscribe to an RSS feed.
ReplyDeleteI'll just wait until your posts come out on DVD.

Rats! You found me out! I will have to tell Ming and Ping to be more discreet!
ReplyDeleteTerry - I'm worried about Cathy. Has she gotten snowed in or something? She hasn't posted in almost two weeks! Has she gotten too good for us?
ReplyDeleteD'ya see that orange square up there on the right side of your navigation tool bar? That's where "abbey-roads.blogspot.com is shown."
ReplyDeleteThat's the RSS button (also for Atom, I believe, which is a similar feed). If you click on that, it allows you to "subscribe" to Terry's posts.
But it's not a subscription in the traditional sense where his posts will be automatically sent to you.
The RSS subscription places a bookmark "file-folder" icon on your Bookmarks Toolbar or in your regular bookmarks directory (you get to choose where you want to place it) and then it collects links to all his most recent posts. So when you place your mouse pointer on the RSS file-folder icon, you will see all of Terry's most recent posts, and those you have already visited will be marked so you don't need to visit them again. Very handy.
That's my understanding of how it works. I use it for all of the websites that I visit. Not all of them have RSS feeds, though.
Larry
ReplyDeleteCath and I exchanged a few emails a couple of days ago. She is doing fine and working lots of hours at her new job at a major corporation and enjoys it very much.
Between the job and shovelling snow, she seems to have run out of blogging time.
Thanks Ray - I still don't get it.
ReplyDeleteLarry - Cathy will be okay. She's actually doing fairly well. Recovery/rehab is always a bitch.
Oh I crack myself UP!
I'm more inclined to believe Terry than Ray - no offense, Ray, but I think Cath has fooled you.
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up too, Dumplings!
The problem is the snow; what with needing a pint of gin to warm back up after shoveling, it's hard to stay on the wagon
ReplyDeleteNow I can see everything you post! Even when you have post-posting regrets and take it down!
