"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Santo subito...

Oh shut up - I'm kidding.

  1. I was curious to see who you had elected as a soon-t0-be saint. The picture did not come up right away. LOL!

Question: what category? a woman or a man saint?

We should not laugh about it, but you got to be Irish, and I like your humor.

Wow--this looks much like my driver license photo. They get worse and worse. (State-hired photos are bad--they're bad, you know it!)

All kidding aside, who cannot picture the Lord being pained to have seen all His beautiful sculpting and colouring undone and then re-done? I can't bear to think of the look on Mary's face.

For God's sake, may somebody stop Chaz from a similar desecration.

  3. Last week, my elderly aunt and I had a lengthy discussion about the "glorified bodies" we get at the end of the world. I thought I had a good answer for her, but then I see this picture...

  4. Maybe it's me, but there's a resemblance to Nancy Pelosi in that pic.

  5. Carol - good point. He was such a nice looking young guy before all this. Then he wanted to become Diana Ross. *sigh*

Michael, I pray you have found the peace that you could not find on earth.

Terry, you have no idea what it's like to see "Santo Subito" at the bottom of the screen, then hit Page Down and see . . .

    I repeat: you have no idea . . .
