Is there really something wrong with capitalism?

Apparently some people seem to think so.
.
I was impressed by the following statement:
.
"...something is wrong with capitalism. Or, to put it more aptly, something is wrong with the human person objectified by the modern, capitalist reduction of persons into objects -- human resources." - Source
.
Doh! It just dawned on me too.

  1. This is why Toby really is evil!

(Of course, much the same can be said of the various versions of socialism.)

  2. Father - ROFLOL! I know! Which is pretty much why I posted it. LOL! I know nothing about socialism - I just fear it.

In the military, we used to say that you use resources but lead people.

  4. I find it interesting that I haven't read one word about "capitalism" or "free enterprise" since they screwed up. And their intense greed was the reason that they screwed up.

They're still lined up at the public trough though and we're bailing them out. Because down deep most of us wish we were as rich as they are.

The only guy, a European, we know of who committed suicide because of the loss of billions was still a billionaire, just a smaller one.

  5. Ray - I'm too dumb to know the difference between the isms - and getting too poor to care.
