The kids and Halloween...

Oh, those kids!

Both Aggie and Celine are already excited about Halloween. We were out shopping this morning and all of the stores already have everything out for the big holiday. So the girls are busy planning their costumes.
Aggie hasn't made up her mind as to what she'll be yet, but she is thinking of dressing up as The Crescat - you know, Carolina Canonball, but Kat seems to have lost her format on her blog and Agnes can't find the picture she wants to dress up as. Her second choice is to dress up as Professor McGonagall's cat, Animagus - from Harry Potter of course.
While Aggie is clever, Celine is a bit more creative. Last year she was Filch's cat, Mrs. Norris, but this year she wants to dress up as Harry Potter's owl, Hedwig. I like that idea.
The holidays come so fast, don't they?

  1. A word to the wise, Terry. In order to join in any reindeer games, I mean, All Saints/All Souls Day parties, Celine and Agnes will need to be wearing saints costumes. Which is fine, but what's wrong with dressing as some of God's creatures? My kids haven't gone to any of these parties because my son has been a lizard, dragon and a pony in past years and my daughter has been a baby chick. Just a heads-up.

All minds want to know if they'll be sportin' their costumes as they serve at the school Mass.....'cept they might be at the nurses office getting inventoried again.....all because you're a single dad.

  3. Swissmiss - I forgot about that?

SF - There has been an incident concerning serving Mass - I'll write about it later - it has to do with the "good touch - bad touch" program at school. (That may tell you why I'm hesitant to write about it.)
