I don't understand why these went out of style. You look really good in them, by the way. If you paired these with that Gothic black coat you have in your pic, you'd really have something ;)
A bit off topic, but Bishop-elect Christensen had on his "Bishop Beanie" at Mass today. Very cool. He told a story about being at friends near Luck, WI, over the 4th and going on a 14-mile bike trip. Supposedly, this family had posted Burma Shave-like signs on the road, welcoming him as Bishop. He seemed genuinely touched (and a wee bit embarrassed). Just thought you'd get a smile from it ;}
uck, that's the exact same pair my first husband had in the early 90's! I remember I washed them once with his purple turtleneck and it turned all the white parts lavender and he would still wear them! LOL!
It's too bad your football career came to a crashing halt because your 'roid supplier was jailed. You could've had a Super Bowl ring! You coulda ben a contenda!

I had a pair of pink, black, and white ones. Actually, we were poor, so mine were likely knockoffs from JCPenney's.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of them.
ReplyDeleteYou look, ummm...
