There are very important reasons why we have funeral & burial rituals. Benedict’s will be unique one of a kind to address his past & current status. It will be interesting to watch.
As I was washing dishes late last night, I was thinking of our beloved Papa Emerito and it made me smile as I thought of him. It made me happy to hope that he is reunited with his family - his mama, his papa, his sister and brother and yes, reunited with St. JPII. Que en paz descanse querido Papa Benito!
I am not a bit surprised to learn his final words were, "I love you, Jesus!" Spoken like a child to a beloved parent. Miss Yaya - I was thinking of the same thing, of him being united with his loved ones. And maybe all his cats!
