They rose up ... led him to the brow of the hill ... to hurl him down headlong.

Yet Jesus walked in peace through the midst of them. - Luke 4:30

That's how we get through these attacks upon the Church made by fellow Catholics.

We encounter Christ rejected, in the sin that wears a thousand faces.
How could we possibly have the heart to mock these people or to hate them, this multitude of sinners with whom we rub shoulders?
The solitude of God in fraternal charity; it is Christ serving Christ, Christ in the one who is serving and Christ in the one being served. - Madeleine Delbrel

"As for me, I said: 'Lord, have mercy on me, heal my soul for I have sinned against you.'" - Psalm 41

  1. Have begun to feel that the Blessed Mother continuing to live in peace with the people of her town after they attempted to kill her Son should be among the 'Seven Sorrows.' She too had no need to be instructed regarding human nature. Like her Son she understood our human nature all too well...and like Him continues to love us,
