A state of war.

"We must say that we are in a state of war, although some people, who always only want to see good, do not want to see this." - Klaus Bouillon, German interior minister.

  1. I think we have known a state of war exists and, for us, has existed since at least 9-11-01. War is raging around the globe just not called that. Syria is the example of what prolonged war looks like. Europeans are rightfully scared. They have lived it many times before; twice in the past 100 years. We put our head in the sand with our distance protecting us. Until we cannot ignore any longer. Putin is the man to watch. Emboldened he will push his way further West. Angela Merkel already fears his meddling in Germany's next election. Our future President will reveal his hand in how he handles NATO. The year to come will not be quiet on the international scene. Remember the Fatima prediction "there will be wars and rumors of wars." We are almost there.
