Behind the Scenes Chaos at Patheos Catholic Channel.

The scheming and conniving to capture the Managing Editor position after Scalia.

It's rough - or so I'm told.  Kat fights and accusations of apostasy.  No more Catholic and enjoying it I guess - some deeks may even be benched.  Or so I'm told.  Which is why Patheos is looking out of network for the new editor.  Or so I'm told.

Here's a short list of the top contenders - or so I'm told.

Ann Barnhardt (Blow 'em Up Good Blog)

Pat Archbold (National Remnant Minority)

Carol McKinley (Throw The Crusaders Out)

Louie Verrecchio (Fruits in the Vatican)

Christine Niles (Church Militant Fashions)

Who?  Me?

    2. "Kat fights and accusations of apostasy"

All of the above and the list you provide dear Terry, all overrated and not worth my time. ;p

If pathos flunks out ... too bad cause I'll miss Deacon Greg, Rebecca, Katherine J. Lopez and the new girl,, can't recall her name. Seasons of Grace is good too. These folks along with you, I find help me along as does Fr. L. ... sometimes. ^^

      Happy Labor Day!

  2. If you would be interested in knowing . . . the Catholic Dogma . . . that we *must believe* to get to Heaven . . .
I list it on my website ...

    www.Gods-Catholic-Dogma.com

God knows what we think and believe . . .

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Deuteronomy 31:21 >
"For I know their thoughts, and what they are about to do this day."

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Job 21:27 >
"Surely I know your thoughts, and your unjust judgments against Me."

Catholic writing of Romans 1:21 >
"They ... became vain in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened."

  3. Uh... wut? What catfights? What scheming? It's actually pretty peaceful, and we were all happy that Lizzie's stress levels are down (it's been a tough job and she could use your prayers). And we are all happy with the new gal, who seems quite nice.

    1. You know I'm an untrustworthy, incompetent, and unreliable source of information - and I'm just playing with you guys.

So who is the new editor? See how little I know?

  4. Sharon Friedman. Seem like a decent sort to me. I gather from the correspondence (which, alas, I don't follow closely) that she is taking over part time. (My main memory of the correspondence was a brief intro followed by a lot of "welcomes" from the writers sent to "reply all" until somebody finally cried out in anguish "Stop hitting reply all!" At which point one of our more puckish colleagues *COUGHSimchaCOUGH* hit reply all and said "OKAY SORRY!" Cracked me up.

    That's about it for chaos.
