Miracolo! The Blood of St. Januarius liquifies in the presence of Papa Francesco!


Miracolo!

St. Gennaro’s relic miraculously turned to liquid in Naples Cathedral today. This usually only happens on the feast of the saint on 19 September. Sepe said St. Gennaro loves the Pope, the blood has already liquefied by half." But the whole relic eventually turned to liquid. - Finish reading here.

  6. This miracle occurred also in the presence of Pope Pius IX in 1848, two years after his election. A series of terrorist acts sponsored by Italian liberals and nationalists, which included the assassination of his Minister of the Interior, Pellegrino Rossi, among others, and which forced him briefly to flee Rome in November 1848 led to his growing skepticism towards the liberal, nationalist agenda (source Wikipédia).
