Wallin, who was ordained to the priesthood in 1984, previously served as pastor of St. Peter Parish in Danbury from 1996 to 2002. He also worked as secretary to Bishops Walter Curtis and Edward Egan in Bridgeport and Diocesan Director of the Ministry for Liturgy.
