uh huh. yup. That familiar scorn, contempt, sneering, from "the left": of anyone who dares to oppose or challenge them. The "I Am The Power", thing that has taken over our culture, the opposite to humility. So Very Tiresome. In the next few days this whole thing may settle out, so far Biden was "awarded" a high B by some. This entire season is very distressing - I can only handle it emotionally by prayer and I beg God The Father to spare us, our nation. or not....as He sees fit... C.
Throw in a few "stupids", "ignorants", "you're a bitch", and "you just don't understands" and - voila - you have my brother. I'm sure he thinks Biden is "da man!"
According to Fox News: “To anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to facts, Ryan’s speech was an apparent attempt to set the world record for the greatest number of blatant lies and misrepresentations slipped into a single political speech.”
Right - like Biden saying he didn't vote for the war in Afghanistan? Check out the records and you'll find that was a blatant lie. Did he really think people wouldn't look that up?
I read this comment on another site and thought it was on the mark:
"Biden's laughing contempt for Ryan's sincere, honest and knowledgeable answers was in itself contemptible. I hope I never have to see that ugly grin again."
biden was biden and i'm sure the democratic base loved what they saw. i was hoping he'd show a little class and rise above common expectation, but he proved true to form. while knowledgeable about foreign policy just because he's been around for decades, he did not need to be so condescending to ryan - who held his own quite well for his first time on a national stage (heck *any* stage). biden's attitude and behavior was distasteful. ryan was a gentleman.
regardless of the outcome of the election, our hope is in God. my fear is that God has a track record of delivering his children to their enemies for punishment of their sins. what waits for us because of abortion et al worries me, and the good will fall with the bad.

Show us your face and we shall be saved. "Each soul is the object of My special love. That is why I am so grateful to those who are resourceful and bringing back sinners to Me. Keep this in mind then. I gave My life for them in the most atrocious torture, for these poor beloved ones. A humble repentance, and they are already on My heart. So speak gently to them. Speak with tenderness. A brusque remark could drive them farther away." - He and I
I found the whole affair to be astonishing. Biden interrupting continually - and at one point both Raddatz and Biden interrupting at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAnd what in heck was Biden grinning about all the time. He looked like Clarabelle the Clown.
Martha and Biden annoyed the hell out of me. I'm totally impressed with Ryan.

You said it - 'that familiar scorn, contempt, sneering' - it is all they have. I'm really tired of it.

The independents were not impressed with Biden.
