    Also, how come all the popular singers from this period sound like they've taken hits from helium balloons?

  4. If that was 1930, and it sounded like it, it must have been "colorized."

    What happened to "colorizing? Ten years or more ago it was very controversial. Did people stop doing it?

    Or did young people learn to love b&w movies?
