What will happen to Fr. Z now?

  1. He'll still be a priest.

  2. I'm guessing that after the funeral, he will take an expensive trip to Europe on the dime of those who "donate" to his ministry. There he will eat rich and expensive food, which he will take photos of, all on the dime of those who "donate" to his ministry. He will also take photos of the expensive vestments he is having made on the dime of those who "donate" to the Madison Latin Mass Society. Then he will come back, find a bishop who will take him in but not give him a real assignment so he can continue living high on the hog, eating fine foods, and drinking fine juicy wine, all on the dime of those who "donate" to his ministry. I think he should, like most priests, have to do real work among the flock. He should also have to live off a salary just like the rest of priests.

      @Aloysius,

      Father Z is actually in Paris at this time.

    3. I don't say this often, but I agree 100% with Aloysius Beckett. Bravo, sir.

    2. I wonder while Z is in Paris he has had an opportunity to read this article by Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller.

      Müller, “No one has the right to indict the Pope”
      The cardinal, “The attacks hurt the credibility of the Church. I am convinced that Francis is doing everything possible against abuses. The American bishops should have sent the texts to Rome earlier”

    3. Yaya, someone needs to send that article to Card. Burke, who said it was licit to call for the Pope’s resignation. Burke definitely needs an intervention.

    God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this priest Father Zuhlsdorf. And thank you God, that my sins are not known to the public so they can't throw stones at me and judge me.

    Hi Terry - I'd like to defend Father Z from some of the negative comments here. I have found his posts through the years to be helpful in growing more holy. I think he has had a good influence on many, many people in this way. I hope that where ever Father Z lands after the passing of Bishop Morlino, he is able to continue his blog. He really has done good work through it.

    FYI, Father Z has posted on his blog that he was hit by a motorcycle in Paris. Please pray for a full recovery.
