Once when I was flying to New York I looked out and Della Reese was sitting on the wing of the plane - looking at me with attitude. I never liked that show.
I remember when the Irish actress had cosmetic surgery on her face while still doing that show. She was pretty beforehand but afterwards, her face looked halfway frozen. I never cared much for the show either but my parents liked it.
Only saw it once or twice. Compared to what we get today it is stellar. Walking Dead, vampires, etc. I do believe angels surround us. Some are even in human form! Our guardian angels are especially important. Oh well I am entering my dotage years. On camera though I doubt that but what do I know.
I watched an episode of this show when I was going through a very black period after my mom died. It was not normally scheduled to be on at that time and I only found it because I was flicking through the channels. The episode gave me such peace but I can't tell you what the topic was or what happened. I never watched the show again it spoke to me when I needed help. (My reversion was still 5 or 6 years in the future.)
Actually the show helped many people I think. Especially reminding them of God and angels and eternal life. So it was a good thing. I watched a few episodes which were inspirational myself. I know.

I never cared for the show - but I watched occasionally. Some episodes made me laugh out loud. The Irish actress was always too sweet for me.
