My assistant, Mrs. Wiggins

aka Gabrielle Van Der Mal, Toonces, Poodle-cat, Bow-Wow,
Schmooey, TeddyBear, among others.

She's my stylist, she often likes to use cat-hair as a prop - sometimes she arranges it in balls or long, thin  cylinder shaped ropes.  I don't know how she does it.

  1. I love her pretty little beauty-mark ! thank you for sharing her photo with us. Gabby looks very alert, content, and happy: a tribute to you, for sure: but best of all, she helps You be .... alert, content, and happy.
I know about this because of my own dear cat and how she keeps me anchored.
and my Abbie also leave me mysterious things, like crop-circles, that I find about the house, many may have been there for years, left behind a chair or something out of range of cleaning. so thougtful !

    1. Haha! Abbie sounds fun. I told Gabs you noticed her beauty mark and she batted her eyes rather flirtatiously. LOL!

    2. Abbie generally claims all horizontal spaces as her own: her favorite things: on the first floor, a cardbord box, she leaps into it and it is my signal to put her, in box, on my lap, and I can do nothing but gaze back at her etc. Mutual love.
second floor; she adores a hat-box (..which I used to be able to use for actual hat storage..): I hear a certain cry, or wail, to see her in this, and I am then to pick it up ( heavy !) lift it..onto the bed, put beside me, and there she stays. long-winded cat-lover boring tale. I wish she could have a cat-companion.
In my deepest major-depression of last year, the only reason I did not 'off myself' was concern for what Her future would then hold. so, Thank God for that.

    3. Dear Consolata,

Be assured of my prayers for your well being. I struggle with depression too, please pray for me.

Animals are a sweet way to distract us and to give us joy. Truly, our Heavenly Father knew this when He willed them into being.

    4. Just saw your reply: yes Yaya your name has been added to the little card I carry with people who I pray ardently pray for (Gabby is on it..): depression....what can I say that you do not already experience. I have been trying to be faithful to praying Chaplet to Our Sorrowful Mother, but the other thing about depression is subsequent problems of concentration. I ended up quitting my job; so now unemployed, too. It is all a struggle now, life. I lay my anguish at the feet of Christ - He alone can make sense of it.
      Thank You ! Lou

  2. Piercing blue eyes ... full of mystery and wonder. Thinking of the many stories her thoughts could tell.

    1. She's actually incredibly wild - she just cracks me up.

  3. Her expression seems to say, "Oh, Terry, please tell me you're not going to post something zany again." But it could just be a trick of the light.

    1. You'll love this, later I went to dust the table and discovered she threw up - probably right after the photo! LOL! So you may be right.

  4. Does she spend a lot of time filing her nails?

Is the HhhhWiggins the correct pronunciation?

    What?

    What?
