I never thought it could happen.

  1. Could it really be? Be still my beating heart!

(Thank you for voting early and often, Terry)

  2. Not yet ... not yet. I hope she loses and don't know what to expect if the Donald wins. The radio news group I am listening to reporting this election has been fun though regardless of who wins.
    KABC 750.

  3. ....Oh So Happy Thank You God !!!!....some pro-life justices. I am relieved all around, except that now I will be even more of a black sheep in my family. I may beg out of Thanksgiving dinner, and go to the Evangelicals I know. Ha.
I just won't be able to pretend disappointment and hide my relief.
This is all so very, very unusual.

  4. Here in the UK we had referendum to decide whether or not the UK should regain its independence by leaving the European Union. The people said they wanted to leave the European Union. Ever since, the Remainers have been trying to scupper the clearly-expressed wishes of the British people. “The majority of the Leavers was only a small one”, they say. “People were misled by the Leavers”, they say. “Parliament must have the final word”, they say. They have even taken their case to the courts. Given that Donald Trump’s majority of votes was very small and that the Democrats and their supporters are known for their deviousness, what are the chances they will be working in overdrive to prevent a Trump inauguration?

  5. I'm actually in shock as well. I'm not a Trump fan but I disliked him less than I dislike HRC. I never expected him to win.

    1. Amen ... Reuters has the count at 290 to 218 in Trump's favor.
He gave a rousing acceptance speech and much to my surprise, he was calm, gracious and likeable. He is liked by more after that speech and I am glad he won ... relieved, actually.
I'm going to be praying all goes well for him and that he will set the Little Sisters of the Poor free from that burden hoisted upon them by the Obama Administration.

This election is won on many fronts but I am too sleepy now to post. Terry will probably know more than me since he is better informed.

      Nite-nite 😊

  6. I stayed up until Fox live signed off on it: I am really, really happy I stayed with it as I consider this to be truely, a miraculous event for USA. A huuge spiritual victory: I note that today Terry has a two prayers/posts to Our Lady of Victory, my absolute favorite title - do not know if today, 11/9, is her feast ? Trump's speech, yes Yaya - it was great. We have, I trust, a very interesting couple of years ahead. It has been hard to be perceived as the 'bizarre minority' of the country: to be led by the hard-core MSM for so long....so proud of all the voters !

    1. I was up late too and slept around three hours. I agree with you but will continue to hold Trump to his word. He's made many promises to many people so let us pray he will follow through and not get caught up in all of the "glamour of being President."

      consolata:
Let's do a novena for the denial of "gridlock" that he's sure to encounter. Let's do another novena for the MSM who thought they had Clinton in the bag and were convinced they could convince America "she was the one for us."
Let's see if those Hollywood elite folks who consider the rest of us riff raff, actually do move out of the US. I mean Babs has not aged well, Cher claims to be one to move and Madonna had promised to perform oral sex on Clinton voters if Clinton won.
That's how desperate they were ...

"The election was a national rejection of both the traditional media and the Hollywood elite who piled on money, endorsements, appearances and offensive videos telling people to vote. Celebrities went full-on insane. Actor Mark Ruffalo vowed to do a nude scene if Clinton won. Madonna said she would perform oral sex on Clinton voters. It was so overboard that it might well have caused voters to just say no to all of star media."

Anyway, the work is only just begun for President-elect Trump, let's help with prayer and patience and by staying informed and entrusting this great nation of ours to Our Lady of Victory.

    2. OK Yaya: I will join you in prayers: it would never have occurred to me to prayer for MSM ! So, So many walk in blindness do they not.
      who is...Babs ?
Here in PA NAFTA decimated this area. The jobs went south: the drugs came back up.
I am grateful and humbled to have faith in Our Lord. I am Just Now, at 3 am Friday : recovering from the all-nighter.

  8. I have just returned from U.K. and Italy yesterday. Visited many beautiful religious sites including the Vatican. Was in St Peter's Square for Mass and Angelus on Sunday lead by Pope Francis. Lite a candle and went to confession at St. John Lateran. I can tell you everyone I met fear Trump. The Pope referred to him by saying men who build walls are dangerous. We are now in dangerous times. I was in NYC not two hours in a neighborhood of ethnic diversity near JFK to experience a Cadillac full of men driving the streets screaming "Trump Power." It is very tense here. A man I met on the QM2, a business owner, knows Trump personally. Has an apartment at Trump Tower, golfs with him, has done deals with him and has his private number. He said he cheats at everything. No one, obut the Russians will deal with him. He osaid Donald is bad enough but the people who surround him are worse. I am sorry to break your bubble but this is what I experienced. You probably did not miss me on this site friends, but I did say prayers for you all. We all will need many more. On a lighter side Italy is amazing and the Pope was inspiring. I now have three rosaries blest by him although from a distance. Peace everyone.

    1. Wonderful you had a good trip and are home safe. I thank you for your prayers as I do need them. ^^

As far as president-elect Trump goes, I will give him the benefit of doubt until he proves otherwise. My hopes and trust are with our Lord Jesus Christ, for our country and our people. The world, like everyone else, will be prayed for and often.

Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer. My motto always even when I fall down and find it hard to get back up!

      Welcome back, Mr. wallacehamilton! ^^)
