Ever wonder why there are so many LGBTQ people?

Doesn't it seem like there are more gay people than ever?

Even 'normal' guys (especially millennials) all seem pretty 'sensitive'.  It's hard to tell these days - it's like there is some kind of gaydar jamming or something happening.  It often seems to me everybody is kind of gay - or sexually fluid and trans-able.  (Even Cardinal Burke said something about effeminate men and girlie-girl altar servers.)

Of course, I live in Minneapolis, which is gay central.  But still.

This just in.

Now, however, there may be evidence that pesticides are the cause.  (I kinda suspected that anyway.)
Hormone Disruptors Linked to Sexual Preference.
Scientists are continuing to sound the alarm about some common chemicals, including the herbicide atrazine, and link them to changes in reproductive health and development. Endocrine disrupting toxic chemicals have been found to feminize male frogs and cause homosexual behavior. Ashley Ahearn reports on how these substances may be affecting human development and behavior.
[...]
Homosexual behavior has been recorded in over 450 different species of animals – from bison to beetles. But Hayes’ research showed that atrazine exposure made these frogs 7 times more prone to homosexual behavior and10 percent of the exposed frogs actually became feminized.  - Source

I knew there had to be another reason.

  1. I knew it is something in the water!!!Its all Lex Luthor's fault.

Since we all drink the same water wouldn't that turn everyone gay... And how does that explain butch lesbians. Though this would have made an excellent sweeps month plot line on Passions..all the preening shaved hunks of Harmony turn gay due to a spell from Tabitha.

Funny you should mention sensitive...I was sitting on the patio having a conversation over with my neighbor (straight) the other night, and there may have beens some drinks involved. I was complaining about a gay wedding we were invited too. See I think the gays should be able to get married but I don't get the wedding ceremony thing. Your both guys for God's sake...who wants to mess with a wedding registry and showers, and shopping for a cake??? I don't want to even go to anymore straight weddings! To which he replied...."Your just not being sensitive enough to your friends!"

The world truly has gone mad!!!

  2. Well, I don't know about anything in the water but my girlfriend (read that to mean when girlfriend MEANT girlfriend when women were speaking of each other) and I were talking about this last night. The whole appearance of high numbers is just a trending thing. Everyone is jumping on this particular bandwagon and joins in whether it's true or not. It's the cool thing to do. It's hip. And, frankly, it's ridiculous. People are losing their true identities as they lead others on and are being lead themselves down the garden path.

    1. The other night on TMZ a rapper noted that it's very popular right now. Everyone cracked up. The guy was serious.

  3. Anne, now come on...you don't seriously think straight people are having gay "relations," because its "cool"! That takes "Come on, it will make you feel good!" to a whole new level.

And if true, why didn't this happen 20 years earlier??? : )

  4. Well there is plenty of evidence that hormones in the water are affecting the fish, male fish producing eggs, etc.

It makes sense, doesn't it? Bruce Jenner took hormones when all he really had to do was drink more contaminated water.

    1. I do think it makes sense - wasn't it in the '90's they were concerned about hormones and drugs in cows milk and early puberty for girls? And the evidence of mutations in fish and frogs is well documented as you point out.
