Pictures on my wall: Everyone is talking about Michael Voris - again!

He's a chameleon.

So I thought I'd add my 2 cents.

I saw this screen shot and said to myself, "I think he's starting to look more like Aaron Eckhart now than Robert Redford."  (I always thought he resembled Redford.)  So I posted the photos to my wall for y'all to see.

"I like that one!"

It's uncanny!  Like they were separated at birth!

  1. I mostly think he just looks like a forceps delivery gone all wrong, but I suspect he will age as badly as Redford. Eckhart is a hottie. Leave him alone.

    1. That's not nice to say - you are obviously not from the church of nice.

    2. I meant to add my smiley face so you would know I was being nice.

  2. Terry,

You give those..admittedly disheveled .....Spiritual Friendship people snark..yet you continually give Voris a pass! The hair, (how can something so obviously styled and sprayed in place look so unkempt..)the vest..the messy tie??? I know ME-OOW..but what gives my friend?

    1. Haha! Just having fun. I liked the hair on my wall. Hahahahaha!

I simply encourage good grooming and style for the Spiritual Friendship group - they can look so dumpy sometimes..

      I missed you.

    2. Terry..I always read you! God has given us a beautiful summer.. (but then I loved this winter )and I am enjoying it too much to post often. Plus you seem like an old friend now..so I respond to your goofy posts more!

By the way Aaron E came into where I work...he is shorter skinnier and more dorky then you would believe..but then Dennis Quaid (huba..huba..) came in and I could pick him up and throw him over my head so all fantasies die in the cold light of reality.

    3. I somehow knew Eckhart was short and I've seen photos and clips where he looks pretty dorky, as you say. It's pretty much why he can't be my profile photo any longer.

Where do you work? Barneys? Ralph Lauren? The Gorilla Tango Theater?

      What?

  3. Well, at least his website/promo photo isn't 5-10 years out of date like Matthew Kelly, Fr. Z and the Patheos people. If I hadn't seen recent photos/video of the above, I wouldn't even recognize them if I bumped into them at the airport. It's amazing how much we age in such a short time--especially when our featured photo doesn't really look like us to begin with. LOL I mean everyone looks good on facebook and match.com, right?

    1. LOL! My profile photo is a male fashion model named Ben Hill. I've had it up so long even I think I look like that. I'm no one to seriously criticize how others look. Just having fun.

    2. Right on the money there! I mean a certain female Pathos blogger looks no where like she does in her old pictures when compared to a recent pic I saw of her when someone on Pathos announced the awards and had a picture of the group on his blog.

I was not kissed by the gods either. like Terry or any of you fine folks but it sure was interesting to see what people really look like and then understand why they are the way they are online. ^^

Amusing hair as always on Mr. V. He must have been a cute kiddo with fabulous hair. And yeah...Eckhart is beyond handsome...a real dreamboat. ;p

Shhhh...Terry! Do not wake us up by telling us that's not you! Haha! :p

    3. Yes, and I'm just kiddin' around, too. Although I have aged about ten years in the last five. I love YaYa's phrase, "kissed by the gods". I knew a woman once who was insanely gorgeous. Her dad told her one day, "You're life will be harder because you're so beautiful." He was right. When you pass a certain level of hotness, beauty becomes an anchor and not an aid. People can't get past that kind of beauty.

    4. Ummm, I think I'm the only one in Catholic internet land who has a shirtless photo of himself from 22 years ago on his website... Oh snap!

    5. Scott - the one with all the money? That is a great photo!

    6. Yaya - when I first started blogging and used the old Blogger profile deal, I changed my photo all the time - Aaron Eckhart was one of my most popular. Good looking guy photos always raised my stats and I got a lot of inquiries from interested readers. I always did a post saying explaining the photo was someone else - but new readers missed it. Then sometimes I would post real photos of myself in my younger days - then most people wouldn't believe it was really me. Now profile hits aren't counted so I long ago stopped changing photos. Now I switch my header every now and then.

  4. I actually like the gentleman with the glasses and smokes better. He looks very sophisticated while smoking...looks like someone who can size you up in a nanosecond and spit you out even faster well, only if he does not like you, of course. ^^ That picture looks familiar too. From a movie? PBS maybe?

Photos raise stats? Never knew such. What are we hoping to get in return? Too funny.

Overall, your headers are great, your style even better. Keep up the good work Terry!

Remember this Sunday! The Pope Cup! ^^ Vivan los Papas!

    1. Yaya - that is Martin Short's character Nathan Thurm. LOL!

    2. Marty Short? Wow! He sure had me fooled. Here I thought he was some great unknown English actor whose name had escaped yours truly. I'm going to have to look that character up then.
      Thanks again, Terry.
