Evidently some of the bishops asked him to dance, but he refused. Then everybody raised their hands in the air - like they just don't care, and he folded his arms in protest. Now people are accusing him of being a WYD denier.
That's just dumb.
Poor Fr. Z's blog has taken a hit lately. His material was once unpacking brilliant sermons from Pope Benedict, spreading encouraging news (brick-by-brick) and fisking hereticalt publications and personages. Alas, Benedict resigned, the bricks are fewer these days and fisking dissidents and Obama has become a tired exercise. Maybe he'll take a break and do some parish work... What?

DeleteWe'll see...putting me on is a bit of a risk and so I won't be troubled if it falls through. I've started on a book-length version to keep myself busy, and I think I'll take the Pope's advice and stir things up... ;-)
