Fr. Z criticized for refusing to give Nazi salute at some sort of WWII Youth Day event.

Story-photo source.

Evidently some of the bishops asked him to dance, but he refused.  Then everybody raised their hands in the air - like they just don't care,  and he folded his arms in protest.  Now people are accusing him of being a WYD denier.

That's just dumb.

  1. Poor Fr. Z's blog has taken a hit lately. His material was once unpacking brilliant sermons from Pope Benedict, spreading encouraging news (brick-by-brick) and fisking hereticalt publications and personages. Alas, Benedict resigned, the bricks are fewer these days and fisking dissidents and Obama has become a tired exercise. Maybe he'll take a break and do some parish work... What?

    1. I know! Father has been getting it from all sides. I just checked his site and he posted that he has suffered a power failure and seems to think it is Armageddon.

It's a call to arms Scott.

    4. We'll see...putting me on is a bit of a risk and so I won't be troubled if it falls through. I've started on a book-length version to keep myself busy, and I think I'll take the Pope's advice and stir things up... ;-)

  2. Hahaha...this is the best blog ever, btw. The pope, movie reviews (did you see the Valentino movie?), art and Father Z!
