    1. Absolutely. I saw her online - went to the humane society and we bonded. She came home and acts as if she's lived her all her life. And she came with that name - Gabby - but I added the Audrey Hepburn character names. I think they called her Gabby because she is very talkative. She follows me like a dog and slept with me last night. She said her prayers with me while I was praying but doesn't yet know how to practice mental prayer.

She is 8 months and 17 days old.

"If" there were such a thing as transmigration of souls for kitties, I think she is the best of my previous cats all in one.

    2. BTW. She is a Snowshoe cat.

  2. She's adorable. I'm sorry about the kitty you lost, and I'm happy that you two met and bonded so quickly.

Wonderful, congradulations! I've never seen a Snowshoe before, she's beautiful. Our house seems to be overrun with Burmese, they're completely in charge. We made the mistake of naming them after saints and they took it seriously.

  4. I had to go look up Snowshoe cat. Wiki says they are very vocal (but not as loud as Siamese.)

I am so happy for you and happy that she's a "rescue." And I bet the happiest of all is Gabby...

    More pictures, please...

    Ok. I'll bite --"Hello, Kitty!"

Seriously, Terry, she's a beauty. Mazel Tov!

  7. That is such wonderful news, Terry. She is beautiful. I think, though, that all cats practice mental prayer. What do you think is going on when they sit staring into corners for long stretches of time? Yup.

    1. That is true, but she's still a kitty at 8 months... just a novice. Perhaps she was singing this morning. Wait 'till vigils I geuss.
