"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Come Holy Spirit!

It's already in progress - no matter when you observe the Ascension.

  11. I've just got up (hurray it's Saturday!)so I am confused for a least half an hour anyway, until my first cup of tea, that is. Well maybe my second cup if I'm being honest.

I love the Holy Spirit, He is a person and He loves us too. I talk to Him, the way I do to Jesus. He gives me good ideas for all sorts of problems I incur during the day.

He is a practical helper, I have found.

  12. Shadow - this is a recycled post from which I removed my commentary. I deleted the comments because these folks were confused by my text. I'm glad you were confused too. Haha!
