I'm just not sure...

Q: Why aren’t you going to the Vatican blogger meeting? Will you be at the beatification?
A: No. Why? I didn’t apply. And, No. Why? I have done the big beatification thing more than once.
Q: Will you translate this Latin (or English thing into Latin) for me? It won’t take you long.
A: No. And yes, it did take a long time. It took 30 years of reading and writing Latin, as a matter of fact.
LOL....is all I'm gonna say.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that his Beatification answer was so he could stay neutral in the Traddy war over JP's Beatification. (Coming down on one side or the other could potentially be a co$tly mi$take.)
ReplyDeleteWhere is this? I don't see it on that blog.
ReplyDeletesorry for being dense.
I'm happy for Kat (and sort of jealous, too - sigh!)
ReplyDeleteTerry, funny!
ReplyDeleteThom, funny, too.....$$$$
He did not go to Rome, he went instead to NYC to be interviewed for the beatification of JPII by FNC. I bet he did mention the Mystic Monk coffee during the interview. LOL
ReplyDeleteI actually think he's sounding a little uppity lately. It's a tough time to be a priest.
ReplyDeleteAnyone requesting anything translated should be ready to pony up some dough...and not just expect someone to do it for free...if you're that cheap then find a local university where some student can use it for an assignment.

The difference? You can't drink rant.
ReplyDeleteA rant is angry, a whine is self-pitying. Simple distinction, no?
ReplyDeleteThe difference between a rant and a whine?
