Okay! That did it!

It's not just buttons - it's mugs and t-shirts and golf-shirts... Too much flair.

Profiteering off the Pope.  Tasteless kitsch.  C'mon!
.
Pray for the Pope and don't worry about gaining an indulgence for it either.

(Go ahead - report me.)

  2. Is there a "say one color, do the other color" veil or hijab available, perhaps? I'm already thinking ahead to Halloween.

  3. I don't see how this is any different from moneychangers in the temple.

  4. Wait! Isn't there a hymn about this?

"They will know we are Christians by our mugs, by our mugs! Yes, they'll knoooowww we are Christians by our mugs!"

I thought this was a joke, but it isn't.
    This is embarrassing.

  8. A bit off topic..but I just had to share...

Tonight I was at the mall doing what all girls at the mall do--shopping--anhd I was strolling past this one clothing store where the clerk had the audacity to be dressing the window mannequins in swinwear..it is still only about 35-40 degrees here--swimwear is the LAST thing on my mind...

Anyway these mannequins are in the window, and one is just standing straight with her hands at her side... and this SO cute little boy--about 3 or 4 methinks--gets away from his mom, jumps up in the window display, takes the mannequin by the hand, and looks up at her face with the most endearing look on his face... he then laughs, jumps down, and runs back to his mom...

And I'm thinking "To view the world through the eyes and thoughts of this child.."

Much thought for meditation..especially concerning the seriousness of so many situations nowadays...

    Terry--please keep us smiling :)

I wonder if Cathy will get mad at me if I give LarryD a second 5 LJ award.

I'm really tempted. I'll have to check with the Rules Committee to see if that is allowed.

But Cathy hasn't been blogging much lately, so that might egg her on to contribute more posts! And comments.

  11. You know what freaks me out about your blog, Terry?

How many times I have to ask myself, "Is this for real? No. No way this is real."

And then I go do some investigatin' and 20 seconds later I'm saying, "OH CRAP IT'S REAL!"

    Good. Lord.

    ;)

  13. Meh. The Protestants have been doing this well in our country for a while as well. Even the more mainline separated brethren have gotten into the act.

  14. Ray - I'm sure Cathy won't mind. I know I won't.

    Luv and kisses, Cathy

  16. Cathy - not of Alex - I probably should have linked but I figured everyone already knew - I had seen the buttons earlier but had no idea it was a complete line of clothing and other novelties.

  17. Terry: Maybe the "source" could send some of proceeds to Peter's Pence:<)!
You know, solidarity, and all that!
