I've never been more confused in my life ... and that says a lot.

I don't understand what's going on.

Hillary's Weiner?

Trump's feline abuse?

The Pope canonizing Martin Luther and Mary Poppins?

Divine Love Ministries?

Where's ISIS?

Where's Black Lives Matter?

What's Putin got to do with it ... got to do with it ... got to do with it ...?

I'm confused.

No wonder everyone is turning towards false mystics and locutionists and soothsayers.

  1. You forgot the obligatory "Not that there's anything wrong with false mystics and locutionists and soothsayers." Abbey Roads is one of my few consolations in this vale of tears, never miss it. Mil grazie, T.

    1. Haha! It's only bad if you govern your life by them.

    1. I met the founders of that group at the SCRC convention over 20 years ago. Powerful intercession prayer group. Glad to know they still toil in the Lord's Vineyard.

    2. Yaya, I thought they were shut down?

    3. I think there is some sort of group that earned the local ordinary's approval.

    4. @ Angela ... well, like I said I met them 20 years ago. They seemed an orthodox Catholic group back then and were at SCRC under the approval of the Orange County Bishop's permission. If they faltered and ran into trouble afterwards, I was not aware of it.

    5. Yes, I believe that Mother Nadine ( is that right ?) is gone, I know not where: I do have a couple of very interesting books by her. I too am happy to know that they continue on.

    6. IIRC, Mother Nadine and those that stuck with her are still on their former property. They definitely had problems and the bishop made the right call. All the priests decided to be faithful to the bishop and most are diocesan priests now (one joined a monastery elsewhere). Some of the community's women are starting a new order under the direction of the bishop. The bishop, thanks be to God, was wise in not simply disbanding the group, leaving everyone to flounder. The former members were all given lengthy spiritual and psychological formation and help so as to repair the damage done by the poor formation from before. Much as I would wish done for the LC/RC, but isn't...

    7. I had a friend who was interested in the group and wanted to start a local prayer group based on their teachings (or something along those lines). We met once to discuss but that was the end of it. Shortly after that the group was suppressed. The same thing happened to me with Regnum Christi. We had some families in our parish that belonged and I showed some interest. They told me how often I'd have to go to confession and I started backing off. Anyone having a tendency to scrupulosity (like me) should NOT join this group! There were other things I was uncomfortable with as well. Shortly after this the leader of RC was exposed and I thanked God for keeping me from joining them.

  4. I find the Entire Nutty World to be So.Intrusive and - well - nuts...that I just finished binge watching NetFix, something I just figured out how to use. it meant first 'updating' google chrome, which I never knew one had to do.
*wow*. nothing like getting really really drunk on something like a visual marathon and snapping out of it to realize how much one needed the escape, however none-redeeming.
    but hey ! fun !
