Doing more research ...

I don't know what else to say.

  1. There are no words to convey the serious divide this episode has underscored. Yesterday, on Spirit Daily, I actually read that Orlando is suffering God's revenge for its hedonistic lifestyle. "The proof"is the series of tragedy's that has befallen that city in the past week. The young singer murdered, the Pulse massacre, the Disney guest killed by alligator, and the high number of lightening strikes lately. Some hitting the same place twice! I still am credulous that I actually read this, that anyone could believe it much less a "Christian" writer. Meanwhile on Church Militant those pesky nuns who will not wear habits and actually think and speak their minds are being thrown out of the Church by the mob with pitch forks as LGBT themselves or if you cannot prove that at least sympathizes! I asked one bloger how a picture of them in Papal audience could possibly prove their gayness and he questioned if I was gay. Then, guilt by association. Enough for me we are descending further into the rabbit hole. I only find consolation in my private prayer and I am not very good at that these days either.

    1. It's amazing, isn't it? I saw that on Spirit Daily as well - I keep remembering the passage in the Gospel about the tower of Siloam falling and Christ saying, 'do you think they were greater sinners than you?'

    3. Fr. Ruler wrote his opinion on Orlando yesterday. Some parts of his commentary reeked with his disdain for our Holy Father.
I stopped reading the article as it was too heavy a piece towards harshness, Imo, anyway.

    4. Fr. Ruler? Nah ... I meant Fr. Rutler.

    5. I finally read it through. He's a smug individual. He's very learned - which he clearly demonstrates in his essays and sermons.

  2. That's the ole song and dance...if you have even the slightest difference or opinion the "gang" goes into a mob frenzy and attacks...and calls you a "gay" or a "liberal" or whatever the group they are hating at the time.

I just stopped by the Church Militant and read the comments...WOW...these people are attacking anyone and everyone, including the Pope..(what does he have to do with this?) Their insults are kind of funny and ironic as their "leader" just outed himself....(in a very wimpy way for someone who is such a supposed "warrior"...saying everything but gay or even SSA) The bishops simply said that the Church opposes any violence against gay people (or anyone) in action or word..not that they were going to dance down Halsted in the Pride Parade on a purple float...and those people are going NUTS!!!

  3. I was busy writing so I missed all of the above.

Anyway - I want to move on - everyone has gone nuts. (Never been a follower of Rutler, BTW. Seems like a snob.)
