....such a great movie....it seems increasingly, to me, that these old movies actually had/have so much more to Say than the ones being made today. Prob. just me in my dotage thinking so. I remember skipping school to see Fahrenheit 451: did it not pre-figure some of what we see today....(1963 ?) To my embarrassment, when my nephew told me about 'a great movie he had just seen' and that I, too, should go out immediately and rent it...I was thrilled to think it was F.451: but no.....it was Fahrenheit 9/11 ! We both thought the other was very strange. ("All the world is queer save thee and me, and even thou art a little queer", as my grandmother used to say. but who was she Really quoting ?)
