I've been really busy.

Yeah, so what.

The weather has been so perfect that I'm spending all of my time performing surgical trimming on my landscape.  I take breaks to pray - but for the most part, I'm too busy for anything else.  I've been using the Akathist Hymn for meditation while I take lunch break... I'm convinced most people no longer believe because they neglect devotion to Our Lady and have lost faith in the Incarnation.

That said, I haven't been too concerned about social issues or identity issues or priest-bishop issues or gay issues or blogagingedaging issues or methane helium issues.

If it rains or gets too hot, I may come indoors, turn on the laptop, and write a scalding review of the state of the blogosphere and crimes against humanity.  Other than that - who knows?

Oh!  Oh! And Jupiter aligned with Venus is so not the Star of Bethlehem.

  1. I decided it was time I got busy too and pray while doing so. I had a happy time yesterday between 4 pm until about 7 pm. It was hot outside but then some rain clouds moved in. I was sweeping the driveway and side porch, as the rain drops began to fall and the sweetness of the rain's gentleness and fresh smell filled me with happy memories. I thanked the Lord for such a gift. I decided I would stay out in the soft falling rain while enjoying the warm weather too. I raked the front yard, fought off some pesky ants then raked some more until the rain stopped.

I looked up at the sky and smiled and thanked the Lord for such a gift. Sweet, gentle, cool breezes while I sighed happy to have worked with my hands instead of sitting around wringing them.

Enjoy the outdoors Terry...tis good for our souls and rich for our hearts. <3

    1. Thanks Yaya - don't be scared about the explosive helium though.

  2. Terry,

It has been terrible weather here in Chicago, I was off last week to do yard work and couldn't do anything...so what to do, grab a beer and a book.. however, all the rain are making my plants grow to epic proportions, they are practically ready to grab people off the sidewalk.
