"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Someone totally jumped the couch this time ...

An interview with Ann Barnhardt ...

Seriously.  Patrick Archbold: A Week With Ann Barnhardt.
For those few who may not be familiar with Ann, she is a fire-breathing dragon of truth and one of my favorite writers on the internet. [...] Ann and I will be discussing the United States of America, our present and our future, from our Catholic perspective. - CMR
Really?

This is how Barnhardt describes Pope Francis: "the PERONIST FASCIST JESUIT WHO HATES THE MASS OF THE AGES AND DOES NOT GENUFLECT TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT."

Huh?

Song for this post here.

  2. You really are stocked up with crazy. Have you thought of an exorcist? I hear one hangs out in South St Paul.

  3. Poor Matt Archbold. It must be increasingly awkward for him to share the pages of a blog site with his brother.

  5. All Ann Barnhardt parts of that interview should be read in the voice of Vizzini from The Princess Bride.

Reading Pat Archbold at the NCRegister over the last few years has been a good case study in the pitfalls and ideology of traditionalism. It made me sad to see that progression. I wasn't aware of AB until after her progression. Then it got to the point where I had to stop reading PA because I "loved to hate" him, or his writing rather, which is very dangerous. My guess is AB and PA have a few people they love to hate in common.

This really makes St. Paul's point about being a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
