Gabby's first big snowfall!

"Dad!  Is that why I'm called
a Snow-Shoe cat?"

"Dad!  Mrs. Rabitowitz taught me how to sit like a rabbit
when the snow gets really deep!
Can I go out and play in it?"

Gabby will be one year old on December 29.

One day I asked Gabby if she wanted to go to church with me and she said, "No, cats do not need to go to church.  Anyway - they don't even let animals in church - so no wonder they say animals can't go to heaven."  I told her not to listen to people who talk like that.  She answered, "I don't."

  8. I'm so happy to hear of Mrs. Rabitowitz again!

Gabby is a sweetheart. Did she actually feel the snow on her snow shoes?

My oldest darling and I saw a little lady named Stephanie with a 'dimpled' chin. A small spot of black fur.
Oh how I wish I didn't have cat allergies...

  11. From a reader who wasn't able to post his comment:

Your blog wouldn't let me post a comment, so I thought I'd just email it to you, Terry: Oscar Wilde -- somewhere, though I cannot remember the citation -- observes that cats, though they are undoubtedly the most intelligent of animals, appear nowhere in the Bible. Maybe that's why they don't have to go to church.
