To you artists out there..you really need to mentor more artist and young artists...
The submittals for our small city's new murals for our water towers were I hate to say pretty pathetic...severe lack of talent. When over half of the submittals were from Jr High students--and LOOKED it--sorry I do NOT want to see juvenile scribbles on a water tower-- is pretty sad.
One kid actually had a halfway decent idea for one of the towers...a formation of fighters jets melding into an American flag...appropriate since we live near a military base...but would have needed "adult" help to get it professional looking.
Terry should have put together a submittal..hint hint.
