Now here's something Catholic logo-ticians ought to be concerned about ...

Some believe the CERN logo has "666"
embedded within.  Others see
it as a graphic symbolizing Shiva.

Concerned about CERN?

You maybe should be.

Unusual vortex over CERN.
(Vortex!)

According to conspiracy theorists, bizarre clouds that formed on Friday, June 24 over the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) facility prove that experiments being conducted by CERN scientists in Geneva are opening up mysterious inter-dimensional portals that disrupt the fabric of space and time and expose Earth to the risk of alien invasion from a parallel universe.*

Stephen Hawking has postulated that the Large Hadron Collider
may be capable of creating a black hole

Statue of the Hindu god Shiva (“the destroyer”)
right outside CERN headquarters.
Story here.

*It has been suggested that some of the conspiracy theorists and writers at news-portals such as The Vortex,  Canon212, and even 1P5 might have entered the blogosphere from a parallel universe, seeking to disrupt and destroy not only the Papacy, but Catholic unity.

NB: I for one do not believe in conspiracy theories... or do I?

The Devil's Final Battle

"Shifting scapegoats to suit market demand." - S. Miesel

If I was a dad and my son told me he was reading that book I would say, "Oh honey, don't get nuts!  Burn that book!  And get rid of the guns in your room while you're at it!"

Seriously.  I read it 2, 3, even 4 times and finally got rid of it.  I gave it to a fanatical friend who left the traditionalist-sedevacantist cult and returned to Wicca - thinking somehow she might snap back to the Catholic Church by realizing what sent her over the edge in the first place was screwed up.  It still didn't work.

The Devil's Final Battle is a bad book - it is faith destroying and divisive and the devil is in between the lines.  Stay away from Fr. Paul Kramer, unless you just like fiction and love conspiracy theories.  Same with the guy who wrote Windswept House... Malachi Martin.  It is fiction.  Catholics must watch out for that type of fiction - which mixes fact with fantasy - it can come back to haunt you and some of you could even mistake it for locutions some day.  You might even get paranoid enough to want to get a conceal and carry permit.  Priests can be deluded too. I will post about one soon.  In the meantime - be on your guard, this kind of crap continues to circulate online.

Recent prophecies...

Father Kramer: 'Well, here we go beyond the firm evidence of approved apparitions and into the realm of speculation. Based on the reported prophecies of a German priest, a mystic, whose veracity is attested to by another German priest I regard as utterly trustworthy, we can surmise that the year 2008 will see the outbreak of war and 2011 the Consecration of Russia and the beginning of the period of peace spoken of by Our Lady of Fatima. The period of chastisement may continue past 2011, but by 2013 the chastisement will have ended and this may be the actual year of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart' - Fr. Kramer 2006

"Fr. Kramer believes it is most likely that before January 6, 2013 is past, the whole world will see and experience the outbreak of World War III, which will be worse than WWI and WWII combined." - Fr. Gruner, 2012

Holy crap!
Didn't Fr. Gobbi
say something just like that?

"Y'abba, dabba, doo!" Were the Flintstones anti-Catholic?

I'm thinking they probably were.  I figured it out by analyzing the phrase, "yabba, dabba, doo!"  As a result, I think it is all too obvious.  First, a little bit of history:  The Church of Scientology was founded in 1952 - although it was officially incorporated the following year.  The Flintstones debuted in 1960 - the year the Fatima secret was supposed to be revealed.  2012 begins the 60th anniversary of the founding of Scientology - hence the connection to 1960.  Kind of.  I'm not sure what that means, either.

Anyway - when we examine the structure of the first word of Fred Flintstones seemingly innocuous chant:  "Y'abba" - though the script never inserts the apostrophe after the "Y" - we can recognize its presence phonetically.   Therefore, the astute listener must ask himself;  "What does the first word of the phrase really mean?"

It's quite simple really, if we dissect each word with slavish accuracy.  For example:  "Y" stands for  Yahweh, therefore it follows that "abba" stands for Father.  It's meant to be blasphemous - taking God's name in vain.  Additionally, there are never any references in the series to Adam and Eve, the origins of the universe, and so on.  All of that is considered myth - although it is not stated, it is implied.  In fact there was a space alien guardian in the series, The Great Gazoo, who tried to help the characters out, clearly suggesting humanity originated from aliens.  (Just like Scientology!  See the connection now?)  Gazoo rhymes with "y'abba dabba doo" too.  It's all there, people.

Anyway, now I'm trying to figure out what Cardinal Pell meant when...
Asked by journalist Tony Jones if he believed in the existence of an actual Garden of Eden with an Adam and Eve, Cardinal Pell said it was not a matter of science but rather a beautiful mythological account.
"It's a very sophisticated mythology to try to explain the evil and the suffering in the world," he said. - Source
Any myth will do, I suppose.

“[In the Universe it may be that] Primitive life is very common and intelligent life is fairly rare. Some would say it has yet to occur on Earth.”― Stephen Hawking

Everyone is worried about Socialites these days.

No hon, the term is Socialists. Geez!
.
Blonds can get their terms mixed up - but contrary to popular opinion, they most always know what they are talking about. Anyway - I think it's funny to call socialists socialites- because that is what it is becoming. The upper class, the intelligentsia, the elite, the American royalty (entertainers and talk show hosts), have pretty much all gone socialist on us.

Dumb.

.
"I readily concede I chucked aside my free-market principles when I was told ... the situation we were facing could be worse than - the Great Depression," Bush said. "(But) we've taken extraordinary measures to deal with frozen credit markets (that) have helped thaw the credit market." - President Bush
.
And Dumber.
.
Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change. - Washington Times

.
I find it curious. The term socialist pops up with greater frequency in connection with Obama and his policy of change. Accusations are made, the 'powers' either ignore them, or deny them; the press then focuses our attention elsewhere, and suddenly another socialist gets a key position in the Administration. While everyone watches football or the Golden Globes. I wonder when Bill Ayers will be appointed to something - you know, that Communist guy from Chicago Obama didn't know.
