Little to no news coverage this year as there are so many awful and fake issues streaming 24/7. I was in 7th grade and we had just returned from lunch. Everyone walked home & back. Sr Electa was our teacher. We were shocked & immediately prayed. First news shoot then soon after dead. It has steadily gotten worse. My world is in many ways divided pre Nov. 22,1963 and post Nov.22,1963.
People do not forget when their world and their peace is shattered. I was only 2 years old when this happened, but I will *never* forget 9/11, just as our grandparents will never forget Pearl Harbor Day. For everything unflattering and upsetting that has been written about the Kennedys, and the unfaithfulness of the men in particular, I get the impression that Jack and Jackie were the loves of each other's lives, which must have been a comfort to their children.
