Good Jesus, in Your endless mercy, please take particularly good care of Terry, his friend, and his cat. If it is Your Will, make him healthy and strong again. In the meantime, help him to suffer well for Your sake. Give him Your comfort, protection and peace I ask this in Your most holy name. Amen.
Protect us Lord, as we stay awake. Watch over us as we sleep. That awake, we make keep watch with Christ. And asleep, rest in His peace.

I'd be happy to, T. Would you pray for the New Camaldoli Hermitage in Big Sur? They're working on a major repair on the road up the mountain to their community and storms going on now could really impact the (very expensive) work done so far. Like many, many people I've treasured the monks in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I recently figured out I've been going there for 53 years. Knowing your love for the conteplative life and beauty, I know you'll join in prayer. Get well!
