Infinitely sad ...

Imagine how many souls are led astray ...

Sometimes I get really, really scared.

  1. Terry, that's what bothers me the most--the souls led astray, the lives destroyed by this corruption. But God's mercy is infinite. I pray for God's mercy on every young person who was led astray by the evil wrought by powerful men.

  2. Yes, Maria - as dreadful and despicable as this scandal is, the Church has been through even worse and has grown stronger. The Roman persecutions, the Reformation, the plague, war, and more - there is always grievous damage done to the Church, and worse, souls lost. But Jesus will triumph, as will His Church.

I join you in prayer for those whose souls were endangered and whose lives were tortured by evil men representing our beloved Church. And as impossible as it may seem, we must also pray for the evil, depraved men who perpetrated this sin against the victims and Jesus. Not so easy to do, but what Our Lord expects of us.

All we can do is keep the Faith and hope the hierarchy eventually gets the message that the faithful laity will not condone this horrid behavior, and that the system must change - NOW - in order to protect the innocent and chaste souls who encounter those who represent our Church.

  3. Didn't Our Lady say that at Fatima? About souls falling into hell like snow?

    1. I've never found that in the authentic Fatima records. I believe the quote is actually from Bl. Elena Aiello - it may have been 'autumn leaves' instead of snowflakes.

    2. I found it: "
“The Madonna then came closer, and with a sad expression, showed me the flames of Hell. She said:” ‘Satan reigns and triumphs on earth! See how the souls are falling into Hell. See how high the flames are, and the souls who fall into them like flakes of snow, looking like transparent embers! How many sparks! How many cries of hate, and of despair! How much pain!’" - Our Lady to Bl. Elena Aiello

    3. I should have added how closely Bl. Elena's details of the vision relate to the vision of hell OL revealed at Fatima. I think the visions of Bl. Elena are for our times - right now.

  4. Following on Fatima, Our Lady told us that many souls go to hell because no one is praying for them.
