I saw that. They protest too much. I think it has to do with the Novus Ordo and 2 calendars and just because Paul VI conferred the title and all of that. Normally, Marian apparition/locution fans would attach some sort of sign to this development - know what I mean?
I get the impression that these folks who "are bearers of the true faith" have another religion and live by it sneering and slandering our Holy Father and all who support/defend him.
When first I read of Papa's proclamation honoring La Virgencita, it made me very happy. Since I believe and know personally, our Lord Jesus cannot deny His Mama Mary anything, what more can we ask for when our beloved Catholic Church offers the many of us a way to approach our Lord even more so through seeking out His Mother? And what joy to celebrate her uniqueness for all of humanity as Mother of the Church?
It is a great consolation to me regardless of the naysayers.
BTW ... I have yet to see them proclaim Christ Crucified to the world. Too busy slamming the rest of us who are dismissed as "living with our heads in the sand."
Apart from Third Secret paranoia, the sad truth is that most Mad Trads don't give a hoot about the Blessed Virgin. She is a reproach and a scandal to them and their worldly ways.
