I went out to pray my rosary and the chaplet after a rainstorm and noticed Our Lady's icon had drops left upon it that looked like tears. One tear on her cheek, one in her eye, one upon the cheek of the Infant Jesus. The tears were dried after I finished my prayers, except for the tear which filled Our Lady's eye.
I left the makeshift arch which supported
frost covers for the young plants in early spring.
Morning Glories should cover it
and create a sort of grotto.
All the flowers in the garden
are blue this year for OL of Fatima.
Hey Terry, this doesn't look good.

I know. I saw that. The Holy Father stands behind him, from what I understand. I have a really hard time believing the allegations. I was thinking if ever there may be some dark influence or Masonic-type plot, this could be it, precisely because he is in charge of the economic reform and so on. I think just last week some official connected to the Vatican Bank resigned? I'm just speculating of course, but I think Pell is a good guy.
DeleteBefore I am off to sleep I want to say that you are truly blessed to live where you do. The greenery of your garden, the beauty of the flowers and the sweetness of our Lady's face as she holds our little Lord make me smile.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing that little piece of heaven!
You are welcome.
DeleteI love these photos and the little story accompanying it. And I have to ask - doesn't Cathy of Alex have a cat named Sodak?
ReplyDeleteYeah, he died yesterday and after I learned that - I went out to pray and that is when I discovered the tear and felt it appropriate in memory of Mr. Sodak. I've been pretty emotional lately, don't know why.
DeleteI'm sorry to hear about Mr. Sodak, please give CofA my best wishes and hugs. I'm sending one to you too.
DeleteI told her - she thanks you and sends her love.
DeleteTer. Thanks for posting this. Your trellis is stunning and so is Our Lady. Hi Angela!
DeleteWhat are those vines with the big leaves...Morning Glory? They look HUGE..but maybe its the perspective.
ReplyDeleteYes - Morning Glory. The leaves are big.
DeleteOur Lady of Sodak? Sometimes people in South Dakota use Sodak as a shortened version of their state. Any connection?
