I know. As I told my brother, I will miss him like no other. He understood and accepted ordinary people. He never looked down on anyone. He was kind and thoughtful and accepted everyone, just as we are. There was no one like him. I feel at peace, feeling close to him still. I don't worry about the next pope.
Viva il Papa! I am up late tonight since I wanted to watch live from Rome the translation of Papa's mortal remains from the Chapel of Casa Santa Martha to St. Peter's Basilica. It was a beautiful ceremony and procession. I hope you can watch it on YouTube, Terry. If you look closely, Papa Francis looks happy. He has a smile on his serene face. I smiled and thanked our Risen Lord for such a gift! My father had a smile on his face too and it was very consoling for so many of us.
Yaya! Good to hear from you too. All I can say is that I am so grateful for Pope Francis - he taught me so much, he gave me such assurance of the promises of Christ - he knew his sheep and his sheep know him. His peace is his gift to the Church - in Christ Our Lord, of course.

I still can't quite believe it. We are going to miss him a lot.
