  2. Made my Consecration to St. Joseph on Saturday before my spiritual director. Hope you enjoyed your day, Terry. Is the picture from your garden?

  3. Thank you for this, dear brother. It is lovely.

May I ask a favor of you? Please pray for me. At least 3, possibly more, people in my parish - with whom I have never even spoken in my life - have trashed my reputation to my beloved pastor. Flat out lies. And he admitted to me that believed them. And for this reason, I was denied employment at the parish, which would have paid for our health insurance. I was very well qualified for the job - perhaps even overqualified. When Father selected a less qualified non-parishioner, I asked him why and he told me. He never even checked my professional references. I am heartbroken. It is too much.

I know you know how it feels to suffer. In your kindness, please pray for me, as I will for you.

    1. I'm so sorry to read this. The first thing that came to me is to invite you to watch The Chosen. I think it will bring some comfort.

  4. Terry, beautiful picture of St Joseph a much overlooked but powerful patron.

Susan, my heart aches for you. I know how much you admire & respect your pastor and love your parish. It is a huge & hurtful betrayal. I think the Lord has something better for you. He let you learn of this betrayal so you know who your friends are and who are not. You can be certain of my prayer for comfort and for an opportunity.
I have a feeling the person hired is not going to work out. Do not know why.

    1. Thank you so much, dear Mr. H. It's been a rough week, and you have made me feel much better. I keep hoping this can all be sorted out. I know sometimes God yanks us out of bad situations for our own good. I must learn to be patient and trust in Providence. You are a good man, my friend, and I will pray for your concerns as well. God bless and protect you.
