Pope snubbed im deutschen Vaterland... "Get my coat George - we're leaving!"



He wasn't really snubbed, nor did he tell Monsignor to get his coat.  But some people are afraid Benedict XVI may retire next year.   Already that one has proven to be false as well.

    I love Msgr. Georg! He's so Christopher Plummer or Richard Chamberlain (in The Thorn Birds). Coincidence too that Plummer played Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music, whose name was also Georg. Ace

    I think I remember reading something a couple of years ago during his trip to the US that travelling was very exhausting for him...

    My mother is 82 and eventhough she is in great shape for her age we do have to allow extra time going through airports etc, and plenty of rest opportunities wherever we go..
