I'm sorry if you haven't heard from me for awhile. Here are a few of the reasons:

I've been busy with a project.

My email has been screwed up - I hate the internet sometimes because email access gets screwed up all by itself apparently. I finally noticed it because a response I sent to someone in Utah never went through - evidently I had to confirm I was the one sending it. Seriously. And then there is a problem with my spam filter, but I still get all the Kenyan "dearly beloved friend in Christ" send me money crap.

I haven't been answering my phone either. Nope - I haven't been checking messages either. Yep - I've been busy with a project that will never be finished.

Normal programming will continue on the blog however.

A good friend of mine has gone offline again. He was gone for three years, returned briefly and is not gone for good. We communicate mail of the kind that requires stamps. He's encouraging me to leave the Internet too and some days I think, yes, yes I may just do that. But I'm a weakling.

ReplyDeleteI look at my work emails twice daily and mostly let my work phone go to voicemail..the other I was talking with a coworker and my phone rang and he said " Aren't you going to get that?? " I said "nope--the current conversation is more important."
I refuse to be on instant access with the whole world..that is why I have technology.. If something is so REALLY important that I have to drop everything and handle that situation, the they can come see me at my desk..my boss is good at that :)
By the way Terry--I'm in San Diego this week...wondering why in the **** I'm going back to Utah Sunday...cool art gallery though in the mall...
