I was going to say something.

All of these years online, writing so many things, as if I had some sort of authority - it all comes to nothing.  I'm a little embarrassed, a bit ashamed, yet at peace that it all comes to nothing.  What an accounting I will have at the end.

There is only one way to salvation, and that is to make yourself responsible for all men’s sins. As soon as you make yourself responsible in all sincerity for everything and for everyone, you will see at once that this is really so, and that you are in fact to blame for everyone and for all things. ― Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamazov

  1. Love that quote. Great to meditate on. Thank you Terry. Reminds me of Proverbs “vanity all is vanity.”

  2. I have always enjoyed reading what you have to say. I never took it to mean you were dictating to us, and that we had to agree with everything you wrote - it has always seemed to be your thoughts and take on what is going on in the world and our Church. And you are almost always charitable, which is a rare quality that I appreciate and want to emulate. Be at peace, brother.

  3. I agree with Susan on this. I have found serious discussion here with often a spirited debate & a good dose of self humor. A rarity on social media. I always question my positions after visiting here.

  4. I would read about church happenings online and then come here for a balanced account. Your love for Jesus always shines through everything. Grief is so hard. It permeates everything, makes you doubt all that is good and true. @)}---;----- (that's supposed to be a rose from Therese :) Sending hugs, Angie

    1. Thanks Angela - I'm really touched - on Tuesday morning I hinted to Therese that I would see a rose as a 'sign' - but I didn't want to bother her. Then she sends you to leave one here.
