Hits a little too close to home I guess...
Listen to this babble...
.
A couple of bloggers who seem to dislike one of the subjects I frequently blog about, asked me in separate emails, "Why do you keep focusing on this subject?" As if to say, I have no right to my opinion or to discuss such things. (Well one did tell me that.)
.
And yet, other bloggers who hold opposite views have websites and blogs promoting dissent from Church teaching - stuff a few of these guys agree with. So in effect, they are trying to intimidate me and silence me. Isn't that queer?

Goobye
I just got word Gerald is definitely closing the Cafeteria and starting up a new blog on Wordpress. No further information available.
I know!
I love it when Craig Ferguson puts his face in the camera and says, "I know!"
.
Anyway - I cleaned up my links on Abbey-Roads 2. Several readers had complained that I have been permitting comments by heterodox bloggers, or those who express hatred for the Church and Her teachings. A couple of people felt posting such comments and links could be a source of scandal and confusion for Catholics. (I haven't posted my links here as yet - but they will not be exclusively Catholic - AR2 will be a purely religious blog - this will continue to be more eclectic.)
.
That said, the links eliminated on AR2 will not find a home here either.
.
I know!

Some advice.
This may apply to some com-box debates that go on as well.
"One strong recommendation, never engage the devil in conversation. I mean never. If you must tell the devil to depart; if you want the devil to go, you know where, tell him, but never engage him in what could even be interpreted as a friendly conversation. I have had enough experience of people foolish enough to engage in conversation with the devil who have suffered disastrous consequences as a result." - Source
