What if this is my very last post ...

Our Lady's Chapel
Icon of OLPH on copper
artist unknown.
(The flash is from a too bright of a spot light.)

Some photos of the chapel where the icon of the Annunciation resides.  The icon is currently in the niche at the back of the chapel, as seen below.

  1. Its beautiful, Terry. The frame is perfect for that space, lighter than the niche but the colors 8m the icon look good against it and the frame picks up the light color in the brick.

    1. Many thanks - I never trust myself any longer. Not that I did all that much before.

  2. "What if we are all nuked during the night?"

I'm currently getting ready to leave for work. Tis 11:02 pm. If we were to be nuked during the night, well, it would an instant flash and then we are incinerated. I hope so because I would not want to survive the aftermath.
I hope that in those final moments, my thoughts will be of God, his mercy, my family.

Honestly though? Too overwhelming to even think about. Your side of the US perhaps has a better chance of survival than we on the West Coast. I read Kim Kong Jong has nukes pointed in the direction of Hawaii, Guam, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.

Truth? Who knows since folks are too busy marrying, gambling, partying, drinking, fornicating, swindling, gossiping ... bah! Stop already, Yaya! (>x>)
That scripture passage came to mind about people being caught unawares in the days of Noah ... nowadays, well, most just shrug it off.

Let's keep in each other in prayer!

    2. I think of you in California all of the time. So many threats from nature and man.

  4. Well we were not nuked last night. Another beautiful Fall day here. I was worried about this NK unhinged man too. Then again I have been alarmed about a a lot in this past year. Still the sun rises and sets, the birds sing, my grandchildren laugh and love me expecting nothing in return. If God sees fit to allow a man or two to destroy all this I expect He will give me something better as a replacement me. Right?
