ReplyDeleteI attended Mass this evening and Father Ramon shared a beautiful story with us about St. Padre Pio. Fr. Ramon went to Italy to visit the Church where St. Padre Pio's incorrupt body is entombed. He said he looks as if he's sleeping. He was able to touch the confessional where Padre Pio would listen to confessions too. He told us he was very moved by his visit and asked us all to ask St. Padre Pio for his holy intercession on behalf of the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
ReplyDeleteI am going to try and become friends with Padre Pio and ask him to intercede for my many family members, myself included, who struggle, who have addictions, who have left the faith, some whom I love very much, no longer believe in God.
I know he will help me draw closer to Jesus and to Mary...this is my hope so that I can truly remain hopeful and prayerful for the conversion and salvation of my family and for all whom I encounter. I just want to be a faithful daughter of the Church.
