'Maria Divine Mercy' Identity Revealed... (She predicted the Pope's resignation)

Rare photo of Maria Divine Mercy.
In a YouTube interview, she claims
to have been a business woman and
speaks with what appears to be an Irish accent.
(Still don't know her real name though.)

To be honest, today is the first I've heard of Maria Divine Mercy, self-proclaimed seer and locutionist.  Larry mentioned her in an email, evidently he follows her, although I didn't get the photo from him.  (Cristina G. asked me to keep secret who sent it to me - until after The Pre-Warning - which could be mitigated if everyone behaves.)   Jimmy Akin wrote about her here.  Akin does well in pointing out the serious reasons not to fall for the messages - but I think anyone with common sense can see they are bogus.

What?

  1. I learned of her yesterday by reading Jimmy's post. I thought she was your former landlady.

And I don't follow Maria Divine Mercy. I follow Sherry Chaplet of the Holy Face.

  3. You are SO! funny: the picture of Catherine Tate will do in a pinch, is what you musta' thought ~!!! ..even if she DOESN't smoke. And.. she is so Irish that she thinks st-Benedict is called 'Benedictine', that's cuz she no doubt DRINKS link all good secular Oirish gals. I was shocked to see a still picture of my SSPX chapel in Toronto at 1:03. How did they get THAT !? I've been craving for a new Jeanne Dixon since 1964.

  4. Ha! I completely forgot about Jeanne Dixon - she was a Catholic too, wasn't she?

  5. Hi, are you sure the woman from the pic is MDM? Once I want to save this pic on my computer it says it's Catherine Tate, british actress...

  6. Dear Ana - it is Catherine Tate - I was just kidding in portraying her as MDM.

  7. That picture pretty much sums-up my impression of every visionary and locutionary out there.

  8. Say Terry, I listened to her full schpiel and even though she sounds so 'sincere' I think she has kissed the Blarney Stone. She won't read the Apocalypse because it may interfere or influence her visions ! Yikes: Private Revelation is more important than St John the DIVINE's??? Oy Vey ! That proved hoaxy to me. Jeanne Dixon was 'catholic' but she was deeply into occult practices. And thanks for introducing us to Catherin Tate a long time ago: there are some hilarious youtube clips.

  9. Interesting post! I was excited that you found a photo of this woman except...you were joking! I spent some time reading the messages over the past year or so and decided they are fake and designed to create a schism in the church. I wrote an article outlining the reasons for my negative opinion on my blog which includes analysis from two priests. It also contains a link to the audio recording of her interview:
