Corapi update...

Update on Fr. Corapi – UPDATE | Angelqueen.org 1 day ago – "They say Fr. Corapi lives in a gated community in Whitefish, Montana, on Whitefish Lake. He is seen about riding his Harley." - Google search

There is a discussion at Mark Shea's blog, with links to other stories.  No real news however, but the com box is entertaining.

I had wondered earlier if he might be among those it may have been better if they had never been ordained.  I'll bet he's moved on however, and prefers to be left alone.

  1. I've wondered about Father Corapi, specifically if he was genuine in his faith and vocation early on, or whether he was always planning a scam operation from the get-go. Or if he has a personlaity disorder. I wish he would write a book sometime about his life and beliefs.
Having said that, I'll add that I don't waste a lot of time thinking about it. Just wonder.

  3. Kelly - me too - I prayed my rosary for him after I posted this. I think he will be okay - I think he is consecrated to Our Lady.

  4. Agreed. He helped me form my faith, so I owe him at least that.

  5. Leave Fr. Corapi in peace and pray for him. I can't hate on him or be snarky becuase that man did more to evangelize than 90% of the people who were gleeful about his fall.

I was fortunate to see Fr Corapi in person a few years ago and there's no doubt in my mind that he is the real deal and a wonderful priest. I think he was set up and expected his brothers to have his back, but everyone got scared and left him to fail alone. Very sad and in this time of some "truly guilty" priests, there are very few people willing to give the benefit of the doubt. I stand behind him. The biggest cause of this is the media has been piling on the Catholic Church and giving great protection to the homosexual sect. Sadder.

I don't know whether he's guilty or not. I don't care either, because Jesus said " Let he that is without sin cast the first stone." Who on this earth is sinless and guilt free, look inside yourself and then decide who should judge this man. I found Father Corapi on TV when I needed his insight and knowledge, when he spoke it was like he was speaking only to me, his message was for me alone. His talks always covered what my situation was. I really felt a connection to him. I know that what ever happened to him was temptation by the devil, we are weak. I will pray for him, I wish I could tell him personally what a comfort he was to me when I was abandoned by my family and had no one to turn to.
